Huawei’s executive Yu confirmed that the company will soon launch a tri-fold phone after five years of research and development. The device features a double hinge design that allows it to fold inward and outward, although details about its design remained largely secretive until a recent leak showed Yu using the phone. The leaked image reveals a wide display divided into three parts and includes thin bezels and a punch-hole selfie cutout. The phone has passed initial tests and is now in preparation for production. It is expected to be quite expensive, potentially costing around CN¥20,000, with plans for initial limited production and possible price reductions over time as the market matures.
