Huawei is set to launch its anticipated trifold smartphone next month, and Xiaomi is rumored to be developing a similar device. In contrast, Tecno has unveiled its Phantom Ultimate 2 concept, featuring a unique three-section main display with thin bezels and a slim profile of just 11mm. When unfolded, it transforms into a 10-inch tablet with an LTPO OLED screen and a high resolution of 1,620 x 2,880 pixels, employing a dual-hinge mechanism for durability. The device includes a triple 50MP camera system and can function as a smartphone, tablet, or laptop in different configurations. However, Tecno has not yet confirmed a release plan for the Phantom Ultimate 2, leaving its future in the trifold market uncertain.
